Critical Creative Innovative Thinking (CCIT) that originated at the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, in December 2013, was meant to be a modest approach in that direction. Its inaugural session, Ignite Karachi, was held on September 22, 2014.
Ignite Karachi is now back with its second series of events.
EVENT: Critical Creative Innovative Thinking – Ignite 2
DATE: Monday, January 26th, 2015
TIME: 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. local time
VENUE: The Aga Khan University (AKU), Stadium Road, Karachi, Pakistan – AKU Auditorium
Via Critical Creative Innovative Thinking – Ignite 2
CCIT’s mission
We will serve as an educational/training (and potentially research) programme through which we can attempt to bridge the discrepancy between the science of biomedicine and the art of healing.
CCIT’s goals and objectives
- To provide a platform for students, health professionals, and others to explore and express critical, creative and innovative approaches relevant to health, disease and society (“social good”) in general, through community-themed social innovations.
- To promote a return to patient-centered, empathetic and compassionate care as a clinically creative and innovative approach.
- To demonstrate the principles of change leadership through relevant team dynamics
