SOS Children’s Villages Canada: Women Empowering the Next Generation of Women

Last year, SOS Children’s Villages Canada had the pleasure of hosting the Beyond All SOSLimits Gala where Her Highness Princess Salimah Aga Khan, SOS Children’s Villages Global Ambassador for the children, was the guest of honour for an evening of learning, community building and fundraising in support of vulnerable girls in Uganda. This June 8th, join SOS Children’s Villages Canada and a powerful network of women for an afternoon of tea and delicious treats as we continue the work of Her Highness Princess Salimah Aga Khan, of empowering marginalized girls through education.

This year, SOS Children’s Villages Canada is honoured to have Olive Lumonya, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Uganda as the guest of honour.

Mrs. Lumonya will provide a comprehensive update on the transformative impact 2018’s Beyond All Limits Gala attended by Her Highness Princess Salimah Aga Khan has had in the lives of countless vulnerable girls in Uganda. Moreover Ms. Lumonya will speak to how to best assist in breaking barriers that prohibit at risk Ugandan girls from completing their education and seizing bright futures.
