Event: Youth Edition Qasida and Ginan Mehfil Hosted by Ginanguru Featuring Talented Global Ismailis

Ginanguru.com is hosting a special “Youth Edition” Qasida & Ginan Mehfil on Sunday,
November 15th, 2020
.

This 5th episode (click here to watch previous 4 episodes) will feature video recitations by talented Ismaili youth from all over the world. Whether it’s a young boy from the mountains of Gilgit, Pakistan, or two sisters from the vibrant city of Hong Kong, what brings these youth together is their love for Hazar Imam and their passion for reciting Qasidas & Ginans.

As always, the video presentation will be supplemented with on-screen text and translations of a new set of Ginans and Qasidas so viewers are able to follow along, sing along, and understand the meanings from the comfort of their homes.

Ali Jan S. Damani, a very young Ginan scholar and researcher from Karachi, Pakistan, will give a brief and inspiring presentation of his research on a little-studied and unpublished Ginan Granth called Manhar.

The presentation will be LIVE on YouTube and Facebook:
