Nava Ensemble was established in 2010 by a group of local musicians from Iran. They have had numerous performances in Australia, aiming to introduce audiences to Persian classical music and its wide repertoire of musical styles. Their passion for their musical heritage brought them together, as did their mutual aspiration to connect with the audience through the medium of music.
Music has the power to bring people together, to amplify their voices, and to inspire change. Nava Ensemble would like to dedicate this performance to the courageous people of Iran and use this platform to raise awareness about the protests happening all over the country. Their performance resonates with the message and spirit of the recent movement which is the fusion of sorrow and hope. The hope that shines through the darkness and enlightens the future.
