Talented artist Fawad Alam Khan impresses dignitaries at various events

Fawad Alam Khan loves music and has been learning rubab and vocals from his teacher Masood Harakin for a few years. He is 11 years old, originally from Hunza, currently studying at Al-Maktoom School in Islamabad. Fawad has played music at various high profile events, and has also worked with Din’s Production and JollyGul.com to release the soulful track of Saqi-e-Bawafa Manam by Shams Tabrizi. He sings various genres and languages including Ismaili qasidas, ginans, folk songs, ghazals, geets as well as popular songs from latest Pakistani dramas and films in Urdu, Persian, and Burushaski languages.

Recently Fawad performed at the Pak-US Alumni Network hosted by Accessibility and Inclusion Job Fair and 5th Khadija Tul Kubra Awards for persons with disabilities at the Serena Hotel Islamabad. District Scouts Commissioner Mr. Akhtar Karim, Scout A Karim and Shaheen Scout Mr. Fawad Alam Khan represented ISGR Central Region and interacted with the participants. The US Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Donald Blome attended the event in which Fawad’s performance was extremely appreciated.
