Ginanguru is hosting the 4th Episode of the Virtual Qasida & Ginan Mehfil tomorrow, Sunday, August 9, 2020. Episodes 1 through 3 have been hosted over the past few months as a way to bring the Jamat together to learn, understand, appreciate, and gain spiritual inspiration from our Qasidas and Ginans.
This episode will feature a brand new set of 20 Qasidas and Ginans by reciters from all over the world. As always, the LIVE video performances will be supplemented with the text and translations of the Ginans and Qasidas on screen so viewers are able to follow along, sing along, and understand the meanings from the comfort of their homes.
Dr. Khalil Andani (Assistant Professor of Religion, Augustana College) will deliver opening remarks on the history and significance of the Ismaili Pirs and Da’is.
