Sure, I’d agree it’s way too easy (and common) to indulge on those days. But sometimes we overeat on regular days. Or at regular meals. Or All. The. Time.
For me, stress, lack of sleep and hormones are the culprits that cause hunger-overdrive – plunging into a bag of chips or tub of ice-cream. We’re all human. Even dietitians.

Thanks for sharing. Today most people overeat due to causes Shahzadi has mentioned above. We go for fast foods e.g. burgers, fries etc.. and lack of fruits and veggies especially in Indian curries. We need to take time to cook healthy foods. Immigrants coming to North America fall for fast foods very quickly cause they’ve never eaten all these from where they come and studies have shown most immigrants get illnesses because of them.
