A UK based care agency has been acquired by the Vancouver (Canada) based Pabani Family, adding to its existing global healthcare business (The Maple Group).
The family has been increasing its UK healthcare footprint over the last few years with multiple acquisitions and start ups.
The acquired business, Care 4U Services, is a preferred status agency servicing the West Midlands, Warwickshire and Merseyside areas.
Although the family refused to comment, the transaction was estimated to be around £1m.
The Pabani Family has shown a strong appetite for care businesses in the region, and are expected to continue expanding.
Knightsbridge, the Kensington based broker appointed by the family for this transaction, refused to provide any specific comments.
A representative from the CQC stated, “The buyer is known to be able to turn inadequate ratings into good and outstanding. That’s what we are mostly concerned with.”
