“I have done my best to portray him in a way fitting to such an exceptional person.”
~ Diana Miserez, author of the biography
In parallel with English and French editions of the biography of Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan made available in the UK and Switzerland, an eBook version is now available worldwide, in time and ahead of the book launch of both language versions at the UN Library, Palais des Nations, Geneva on April 20, 2017

This book, written by a former colleague and friend, Diana Miserez, honors Prince Sadruddin’s legacy in the service of the United Nations and beyond. She looks at his involvement with the UNESCO, UNHCR, and describe the efforts he made to raise awareness of the dangers of nuclear proliferation and environmental damage while undertaking missions in Lebanon, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan.
Diana hopes to inspire younger generations, those that the prince looked toward when he fought for the future of the planet.
The eBook will soon also become available for sale on Apple iBooks, Nook US and OverDrive (who in turn supply ebooks to hundreds of libraries and smaller retailers, worldwide).

About the Author – Diana Miserez

Diana Miserez was born in London, and grew up in Midlands. At Bristol University she met a number of Eastern European refugee students, and an interest in their experiences led her to work with what is now called the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
Over the course of several periods at Geneva headquarters and field assignments in Africa and Asia, Diana came into fairly frequent contact with Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan, initially Deputy, then as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (1962-77).
Diana was among the many people with whom the late prince developed friendly relationships, which he maintained for the rest of his life. Eventually, she was strongly urged by several former colleagues to write this biography.
She is married to a Swiss and has an adult daughter.
