Ismailimail concludes the two days series of ten readings commemorating the 137th birth anniversary of Mawlana Sultan Muhammad Shah with the Constellation of Honours of His Highness Aga Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah, Aga Khan III, GCSI, GCMG, GCIE, GCVO, PC.

Constellation of Honours, similar to the one highlighted for Mowlana Hazar Imam is a humble attempt to show the high esteem by which Mowlana Sultan Muhammad Shah was held with, and the respect and influence he commanded both in the east and the west. From Britain to Persia, Germany to Syria, and Turkey to Zanzibar, we find various Kings, Emperors and Sultans honour our Imam.
There are various other honors and accolades that we encourage you to discover and learn about as you explore Constellation of Honours (below).
Two different sets of events among others illustrate for us the high points of his international leadership: the first one being his appointment as the President of the League of Nations; and the second his nomination for the Noble Peace Prize.
Ismailimail also recalls with pride the time when the French Minister of Culture and Communication, M. Frédéric Mitterrand, during the presentation of decorations to His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan (Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters) and Prince Amyn Aga Khan (Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters) recounted with utmost respect the contribution of the various members of the Noorani family.
Ismailimail is once again honoured to share the extract of the tribute to our 48th Imam as we present this 10th and final reading of the series.
In welcoming you [Mowlana Hazar Imam and Prince Amyn] here this evening we also pay homage to the memory of your grandfather, His Highness the 48th Imam, who had the onerous task of being Secretary General of the League of Nations in 1937 and 1938, in a political climate requiring courage from all who were advocates for peace.
– M. Frédéric Mitterrand,
French Minister of Culture and Communication,
