Natasha Baig: Ya Ali Mushkil Kusha (Track 02) Zariya

YA ALI MUSHKIL KUSHA CONCEPT: She has decided to embark upon a journey leading to divinity without thinking about the consequences and hurdles she might face on the way. Through ‘Ya Ali Mushkil Kusha’ she is pleading for help. She has chosen the path yet clueless on how to sustain her sanity in a world where she has faced turbulence, uncountable times. It is difficult to ignore the worldly disturbances while keeping one’s focus on the spiritual path. But truth only lies as close to you as your jugular vein. And that is realized after she feels the balance within.

Natasha Baig’s debut album called Zarya is a ten-track album emblematic of her personal brand of music —a fusion of Sufi and rock.

Natasha gained popularity when she opened Coke Studio’s season 11 with a collaboration with Farid Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Qawwal on an improvised version of Allama Iqbal’s Shikwa.
