Renowned TV personality and Co-host of MSNBC’s “Live with Velshi and Ruhle”, Ali Velshi took several days off from his busy schedule during the end of May to share his knowledge and experience with UCA students in Khorog, Tajikistan.
The students were inspired by his sessions on economics, financial investments, entrepreneurship, value propositions, and marketing, and actively participated in applying the knowledge in building business plans and financial models. “I was most impressed,” said Ali Velshi, “that UCA students seem determined to increase their societal and civic engagement and improve the standard of living in Central Asia.”
