  1. Thank you former Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird for a superb article that gave me an emotional lift when I sorely needed one today.
    You may not remember this but my two children worked for you in Ottawa, my son when you were the Minister of the Environment and my daughter as a summer intern when you were the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In addition you introduced my wife and I to His Highness the Aga Khan at the opening ceremony of the Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat in December 2008, when former Prime Minister Stephen Harper showered many well-deserved accolades upon His Highness.
