Being Canadian – By Nurain Lakhani

I am a proud Canadian
Even though I am part Indian
I’m made up of many parts
But Canada has my heart
The true north strong and free
Filled with many a plant and tree
Where varieties of animals roam
And we all call this home
With waters that are still and those that flow
Niagara falls and great lakes of four
Salmon swim here that’s true
In waters so so blue
Crisp and clean is our air
Because we take so much care
My country is my heart and soul
And all parts of it make up my whole
