This issue of University of Central Asia’s quarterly magazine highlights the impact of the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE), its first operational school.
Its scope reflects the broad reach of SPCE, featuring both young graduates seeking to enrich their learning and seasoned professionals building their credentials. This issue includes stories on the School’s focus on entrepreneurship in sectors ranging from construction to livestock farming; its impact providing training for civil servants through partnerships with governments; the School’s commitment to strategically strengthen education through teaching training programmes; and in our People section, intimate accounts of the impact of SPCE programmes on both students and graduates.
Less known, but no less impactful, SPCE’s contributions to other sectors, such as health care, are also featured. Finally, we include stories that highlight SPCE’s continued role as our trail blazer programme, initiating UCA’s growing programmes in Afghanistan through vital agreements with government, development and education partners.
