Nadir Budhwani in Multan – The City of Sufis and Saints

clock-tower-multanSaturday, December 6, 2008

I, as if ‘I’ exist on my own, don’t know how I ended up planning this trip. Perhaps, I didn’t plan it; it was planned for me. Thus, I can’t even say that I went there. I’d say, I was there. Where was I? I was in Multan, the city of sufis (mystics) and saints. I recall seeing my body and soul not just in Multan, but also in Uch Sharif, Bahawalpur, Taranda, and Cholistan. Yes, these were the places I was in during December 6-11, 2008. And Multan is not a place one should visit after reading this blog. It is one of those places which one will visit, if it is meant to be!

  1. Hi Nadir
seems your trip to Multan was really a memoriable, but one thing is missing in your article ,that is when you say Multan-The City of Sufis and Saints. You did not describe any Saint except one.
I was excepting few more saints and their qualities

  2. Nur, the blog on Multan is incomplete. I don’t know who shared it with the Ismaili Mail. You can check the blog after few weeks, I plan to complete it by Jan 15, 2009.
