On the occassion of Mowlana Hazar Imam’s, 86th Birthday, Ginanguru.com has released a very unique “choral” rendition of the Talika Ginan “Eji Sahebe Farman Lakhi Mokalya”, featuring 19 Ismailis representing 6 countries. This Ginan was composed by Pir Hasan Kabirdin and is traditionally recited upon receipt of a Talika from Mowlana Hazar Imam.
The video shows all singers on the screen as a “Virtual Chorus” while also presenting the text and translations to make it easy to sing along and understand the meanings.
This Salgirah marks 7 years since Ginanguru was started with the mission of making Ginan translations more accessible to the youth and younger generations of our Jamat. Mowla has expressed his wish for our jamat to continue this “Wonderful Tradition”, and learn what our Da’is and Pirs have taught us.
