Minaz Jivraj, Chief Security Officer of Dufferin Peel Catholic School Board, was recognized for his collaborative efforts

Mr. Minaz Jivraj, Chief Security officer, Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board (Ontario, Canada), was recognized by the Board of Trustees at a public meeting on August 27, 2020 in a letter by Peel Regional Police Service for his assistance during several significant investigations, many of which involved violent crime (including but not limited to shootings, stabbings, and homicides), along with other events/incident that have directly impacted the wellbeing and safety at local schools and within the broader community. Mr. Jivraj was recognized for his “high level of expertise and professionalism.”

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of the largest and most diverse school boards in Ontario. It serves over 73,000 students in 151 schools located throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Orangeville. For more information about DPCDSB, visit dpcdsb.org.
