In this livestream event, Dr Mohamed Keshavjee will be discussing the major upheaval concerning civil liberties and public health, environmental justice, and civil society engagement as a specialist on mediation and conflict resolution.
Dr Mohamed Keshavjee has spent a 30-year career with the Aga Khan Development Network, and as a barrister has practiced law in Kenya, Canada and the United Kingdom. Having left South Africa during Apartheid to live in Kenya, Dr Keshavjee has spent a career working on mediation methods needed in the face of major social upheavals due to rapid globalization accelerated by technological growth and massive climate change. Mr Keshavjee has published several books with I.B.Tauris & Co Ltd, and has lectured internationally with The Institute of Ismaili Studies.
