When our Beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam ascended to the Throne of Imamat as the 49th Imam of Shia Ismaili Muslims, enthronement ceremonies were held in the three East African Cities of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Nairobi (Kenya) and Kampala (Uganda) in the month of October 1957 followed by ceremonies in Karachi (Pakistan) Dacca (Bangladesh) and Mumbai (India) in the months of January, February and March 1958 respectively.
Contributor Kamrudin Rashid, born in Zanzibar (Tanzania) and now living in Canada is pleased to share with the diverse readers of IsmaliMail the souvenir of the celebrations held in Kampala, Uganda, October 1957. Please enjoy this historical post.
This is our 3rd and final post in this series. Be sure to check out our previous two posts available on our website.
Thanks The narrative is too faint. Is it possible to improve it? Thanks again.

Thanks Mr. Verjee for your comments. Yes the narrative is too faint because the original itself is over 62 years old. Will try to have darker copies made at a stationery store and request IsmailiMail to post again.
