The most glamorous event of the year, the annual Lux Style Awards 2019, were held at the Karachi Expo Centre on July 7, 2019. The LSAs have been celebrating Pakistan’s film, fashion, television and music industries for the past 18 years.
Saakin’s sufi epic Saqi-e-Bawafa rendition of a poem by Shams Tabrizi, a Persian sufi who is credited as being one of the spiritual instructors to Rumi himself won LUX 2019 under “Best emerging talent in Music” category.
