JollyGul.com has just launched Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa granth as an on-demand service. Recitations of verses are accompanied by synchronized line by line lyrics and translation display on its custom-designed audio player.
Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa is one of the famous works of Pir Hasan Kabiruddin and contains 90 verses of pure supplication (earnest plea) in 9 (nav) parts. Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa is an addendum to the major work of Pir Kabiruddin – the 500 verses of his masterpiece granth Anant Akhado which JollyGul.com had launched on its website in April 2019
Anant Akhado deals with a comprehensive range of spiritual themes including the struggle for the liberation of the individual soul. Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa, on the other hand, contains 90 verses of pure submission and supplication – an earnest plea – in 9 or nav parts or sections.
Pir Hasan Kabiruddin dedicated and presented this entire work to the Imam of the time Mawlana Islam Shah. Pir Hasan Kabiruddin folded the silk-like cloth on which he had written the verses in the form of a turban.
Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa was composed after his main work as additional verses and the cloth on which the verses were written were folded in the form of nine tassels as an addendum (decoration) to the turban.
These were called Anant Nav Nav Chugga meaning the nine tassels of eternity (or of the salvation of unlimited souls).
The whole granth is recited by Shafiq Rawji and translations are provided by Karim Maherali.
As a complement to the Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa service, JollyGul.com has also released 2 podcast episodes to throw more light on the subject. The podcast episodes, hosted by Aly Saleh and Alnoor Saleh, give an overview of Anant Naa Nav Chhugaa and delve into the verses of the granth.
