Alif Allah (Jugni)

This song Alif Allah Chambe Di Booti is also known as Alif Allah (Jugni). It is a popular Punjabi sufi song that was composed and sung by Arif Lohar and Meesha Shafi in Coke Studio Pakistan. The lyrics of the song were based on the works of 17th century Sufi poet Sultan Bahu.

Arif Lohar is a Punjabi folk singer from Pakistan. He usually sings accompanied by a native musical instrument resembling tongs (called a Chimta). His folk music is representative of the traditional folk heritage of the Punjab. He is the son of the renowned folk singer Alam Lohar.

Meesha Shafi is a Pakistani actress, model and a singer. Shafi made her film debut with a supporting role in the 2013 Mira Nair’s film The Reluctant Fundamentalist. The following year she appeared in Bollywood film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, which ranks among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2013 in India.
