Karima Ewig, has just been accepted as a member of the Toronto Accessibility Advisory Committee for a three year term. Karima has been working in the field of disabilities for 11+ years as well as grew up with epilepsy. She went to school for Developmental Services Worker and Intervenor for Deaf-blind Persons. She currently works in a Day program and a group home supporting adults with disabilities. She has come to understand that not everyone will accept you as you accept yourself, and so because of this, She continuously explore options to advocate and educate for people with disabilities.
