Plano's Multicultural Outreach Roundtable teams up with Aga Khan Council for exhibitionAga Khan Council for the Central United States will host the first Ethics in Action event July 20-21 at the Plano Municipal Center. The inaugural event marks the first collaboration between Aga Khan Council in Plano and the city’s Multicultural Outreach Roundtable (MCOR).

The two-day event will be from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in the lobby at 1520 K Ave.

Samina Hooda, communications coordinator for Aga Khan Council of Central United States, said attendees can expect to see an interactive display of ongoing service projects locally and abroad that will hopefully inspire a heart for service.

“Bringing it to Plano is important because the city of Plano stands for all of these ethics in its own mission for excellence,” Hooda said. “It’s very important for us to draw this connection that although these ethical projects may be in other global arenas, the same ethics are shared with the city of Plano.”
