Originally displayed at The International Center (Toronto) during the Diamond jubilee homage ceremony gathering in July 2017. This handmade, labour of love was created by Salima N Meghani of Mississauga, Ontario. Approximately 7ft in length, she used Swarovski crystals for the Taj and wrapped each prayer beads with pearls with Allah’s 99 beautiful names inscribed on each bead.
As a fashion jewelry designer/entrepreneur (http://www.fashionjewelleryoutlet.com/) Salima has a passion for Arts. A devoted volunteer within and extended community, she occasionally conducts Tasbih Jewelry making workshops at her place of business as well as via social media. She hopes to participate in upcoming Jubilee Arts Festival and showcase her creativity.
