The Economic Planning Board in synergy with the Women’s Activity Portfolio, both a part of the activities initiated by the Aga Khan Foundation – India recently formed an alliance for the professional teachers within the community. A platform to learn, grow and network professionally.
Dr. Farida Virani was invited to address, their first meeting, ‘Teacher’s Rendezvous’ to inspire encourage and motivate the teachers. Talking about the fascinating changes in the world of education, she mentioned several in-service and online professional development opportunities which would help them become efficient and effective in their profession. She ended her presentation with some exciting data on how ‘Edupreneurs’ are creating a new wave of disruptions in education to redefine learning experiences.
