Islam & Muslims in the 21st Century: Media, Muslims and Free Speech – Toronto Star’s Haroon Siddiqui’s Lecture at the Aga Khan Museum

In this lecture, “Media, Muslims, and Free Speech,” Haroon Siddiqui draws on his 48 years of reporting and supervising coverage of Canada at the Toronto Star.

This lecture took place on April 17, 2016 in the Aga Khan Museum auditorium and was the first in the six-part lecture series entitled “Islam and Muslims in the 21st Century.” The series features scholars and journalists who are leading thought-provoking conversations about Muslims and Islam today, and addresses questions of identity and belonging, youth and integration, and immigration and settlement.
