More than 5,000 people are expected to participate in the annual Aga Khan Foundation Walk/Run Saturday at the Irving Convention Center, 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd.
Formerly called the Partnership Walk, the event is held in several cities to raise funds to invest in long-term solutions to improve the quality of life for communities worldwide.
The 5K run begins at 7:30 a.m., the 1K youth run at and the walk’s ribbon cutting ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. For more about the walk, visit akfwalkrun-dallas.crowdsterapp.com.
