Pakistan Today | Biggest Pak-China Cultural Exhibition opens today with presentations from Aga Khan Cultural Services

china-pakistan-flagThe biggest cultural event in the history of Pakistan-China relations in the non-governmental sector will be held today at the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre.

According to a press releases issued on Sunday, the program is part of celebrations marking 2015 as the Year of Pakistan-China Cultural Contacts. Organised by the Pakistan-China Institute in collaboration with China’s Tsinghua University and the Bolin Cultural Group, the event begins with a Roundtable on Preserving and Promoting Cultural Heritage along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor at 10:30 AM.

In addition, Aga Khan Cultural Services (AKCS), CEO Salman Beg, will give a presentation on the AKCS’ work in Gilgit Baltistan and Lahore in conserving the ancient cultural heritage sites.
