Aiglemont, 14 April 2015 — Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa have announced the arrival of their first child, a son named Prince Irfan, born in Geneva, Switzerland on 11 April. Both mother and child are in good health.
Mawlana Hazar Imam’s special message to the global Jamat on this occasion has expressed the great happiness of the Aga Khan and Spears family.
Jamats around the world have received the news of Prince Irfan’s birth with immense joy and traditional celebrations.
On behalf of the Jamat, the Ismaili Leaders’ International Forum and various National Councils have sent messages of congratulations to Mawlana Hazar Imam, the new parents and both families, with prayers for Prince Irfan’s long life and wellbeing
