The Patients’ Behbud Society for AKUH was founded in 2001 by well wishers of Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH). The Society is a legal entity managed by a group of prominent citizens independent of AKUH and its accounts are audited annually by a reputed firm of Chartered Accountants. Approved u/s 2(36) (C) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 contribution eligible for tax credit u/s 61.
