The 27th Annual World Partnership Walk kicked off at the Legislature grounds Sunday morning.
Hundreds came out to walk through Edmonton’s downtown to support the cause.
Organizers expect to raise up to $500,000 through Sunday’s walk.
The event in Edmonton was just one of ten held through May and June in nine other cities in Canada.
