Rani Suleman recently finished her summer internship with the University of Western Ontario’s non-profit organization management
program. She spent about 3 months in Oyugis, Kenya working with local women’s group on building a sustainable yogurt production business. The partners involved in this project are the World Bank, Western Heads East, Kenyan Medical Research Institute and the Kenyan Ministry of Health.
Rani Suleman’s Honors:
– Enbridge Award recipient, 2008-2009 (Richard Ivey School of Business)
– Councillor Eve Adams Award for Volunteerism, 2005- 2006 (City of Mississauga)
– Canada Day Youth Award, 2006

It is really heratning and encouraging to see our young generation, such as Rani, venturing out in unchartered territories, leaving behind the comfort and quality of life in Canada, and extending helping hand to the poor, needy and deprived.
