  1. Thank you for the generosity towards the uganda Sustainable Clubfoot Project. I have been taught, supervised ad worked with Pirani and other few collegues of his but actually he deserves a pat at his back. The man has really worked tireleslly for the child born with clubfoot to grow up with a normal foot. I have been at the fore front of clubfoot treatment in Uganda using the Ponseti method introduced by Pirani.
    May god reward him abudantly

  3. I met Shafique Pirani in Uganda when he launched his project in 2005 at the Mulago Hospital. It was a star-studded occasion, with the presence of many children he had already helped. Since then I have kept up with him through correspondence and reading about him and his project in the media – Readers Digest (Oct 2005) and Vancouver Sun (July 16 2005) no less. I also meet his father Vazier P K Pirani often. He was a long-serving Administrator in the H H Aga Khan Education Department in Uganda in the pre-1972 halcyon days. Shafique does his family and the Ugandan Asian community proud.
