The Walk is held in 10 cities across Canada. 100% of the donations go directly to fund international development programs. In 2016, 7 million was raised and 40,000 people participated in the walk.

Nowadays, the benefits of workplace engagement in social causes are well documented, and something the team behind Vancouver’s World Partnership Walk, Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), has been capitalizing on since the event’s inception.
World Partnership Walk Victoria, which takes place at the University of Victoria next month, raises funds for the Aga Khan Foundation Canada’s programs in Africa and Asia — initiatives that enable men and women to lift themselves and their children out of poverty to create better communities.
