From November 1st to 3rd, 2019, Teamwork Arts, producers of the ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival, brought to Adelaide, Australia a transnational celebration of cultural connections and new perspectives.
Farhan Shah, world-renowned singer, composer and music producer was invited to perform “Sufi Contemporary Sounds” featuring two World Class learned Maestros Alain Vālodze & Aboud Abaza at this prestigious event.

Recently, Farhan Shah was honored by Parliament of South Australia during Silk Road Appreciation day for his positive contribution and promoting of cultural diversity in field of Music. Jing Lee (Assistant Minister to the Premier. Parliament of South Australia) presented the certificate of appreciation to Farhan.
Next up for Farhan is WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL from December 27, 2019- January 1, 2020.
The Woodford Folk Festival is held annually over six days and six nights, from Dec 27th through to January 1st. More than 2,000 local, national and international, artists, musicians and presenters put on over 438 acts to an audience of an estimated 132,000 people. The festival begins each year with the iconic Opening Ceremony and closes with the spectacular showcase, the Fire Event on New Year’s Day. This year will be the 34th Woodford Folk Festival and the 25th held at Woodfordia. It is the largest gathering of artists and musicians in Australia.
Dubbed the Pakistani Pavarotti for his phenomenal voice, Farhan Shah heads this powerhouse music group presenting the traditional Sufi music of Pakistan and South Asia.
