The 2019 AKF Walk | Run was held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Discovery Green in downtown Houston. An incredible fun-filled day was planned for all ages. Fun Foam Run for children under 18 years of age, a walk to celebrate AKF and its work, live entertainment, a pumpkin patch, face painting, balloon animals, mehndi/henna design, and a silent auction to raise critical funds for AKF.
Police Chief Art Acevedo along with other dignitaries from Houston area joined this fun-filled day!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful event. Heart warming to see Ismaili youth and all other communities come together and seniors too, which The Aga Khan has always said often, pluralism and building bridges with other communities is the key to end global poverty which His Highness has been doing all he can for people of walks to come together, hence poverty will decrease immensely and not forgetting a good lesson for the young to know, not forgetting the volunteers who always work very hard for many occasions as Prince Charles had once said to
