University of Central Asia: Connecting to Your Discipline Programme

“It has been quite a journey, and the best part about everything is the enthusiasm of the students,” said Kamil Karamali, Communications and Media facilitator for the “Connecting to Your Discipline” programme at the University of Central Asia.

As part of the first year of study, CYD is an exciting programme that aims to help UCA students decide which of the six majors offered by the University they would like to study. It provided them with a great opportunity to learn more about the academic programmes and put their gained knowledge into practice.

This year, Kamil Karamali, Reporter at Global News, and Farhan Umedaly, Filmmaker at VoVo Productions, led the Communications and Media week. Watch this video to hear more about their impressions from their time at UCA’s campuses in Naryn (Kyrgyzstan) and Khorog (Tajikistan). This video was produced by Aleksey Lee, undergraduate student at UCA.

CYD is facilitated by international and regional professionals.
