Asifa Lalji: CBC’s Visible Women

By André St-Georges for CBC Radio Canada blog: Employee Resource Groups (or ERGs) are becoming increasingly popular in progressive workplaces around the world. ERGs are groups of employees who join together voluntarily on the basis of shared life experiences or socio-demographic characteristics. CBC/Radio-Canada has seven ERGs, including Visible Women, which brings together female employees from visible minority backgrounds, making the group a perfect fit with the organization’s values of inclusion and diversity.
