Sofia Alani to speak at AMPAC Women & Islamophobia PanelSofia Alani is originally from Calgary and moved to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta, where she graduated with a degree in Human Ecology. She is an Ismaili Muslim and currently works as a social worker for the Aga Khan Council for Edmonton. Sofia is also a board member of the Mosquers Film Festival and the Canadian Council of Muslim Women. She is extremely passionate about women’s rights and human rights issues and is honoured to be a part of this panel.
