Naznin A. Dhanani: Engaging Children and Youth in Pluralism

In honor of the opening of the Global Centre for Pluralism and Canada’s 150th Birthday, Naznin has created two journals for all children and youth across the globe.

1. My Kidz Canadian Citizenship Journal
2. My Kidz Global Citizenship Journal

Both journals focus on citizenship, volunteering and diversity. The journals are designed for children and youth to reflect and write about their own identity, language, values, culture and heritage, volunteering and citizenship activities. The journal also provides a list of helpful websites to support children and youth in this journey.

Engaging Children and Youth in Pluralism

Naznin has created her own new company, Citizenship for Kidz Academy. The Academy’s vision is to engage children and youth in “Volunteerism, Citizenship and Diversity”.

Naznin A. Dhanani, ECE. ITE. FRP is the Founder & Early Childhood Resource Advisor for Citizenship for Kidz Academy

Naznin Dhanani is a licensed Early Childhood Educator and Infant-Toddler Educator and has certification in Administration in Early Childhood Services, Mother Goose, Early Learning Canada and Family Resource Practitioner Program. She is also the founder and creator of a Self-Care for ECE’s & Practitioners Course. Naznin is a ECE Volunteer Advisor for the Aga Khan Development Network. As an ECE Resource Advisor and Founder, her focus is to research early childhood resources to support Early Childhood Educators, Health Professionals and Families. Her vision is to teach and support children to be young citizens of Canada and the world. Naznin continues to work towards an intervention strategy through engaging children and youth in volunteerism and citizenship globally.
