DUBAI November 10, 2015: Dubai Cares will partner with an international development organisation – the Aga Khan Foundation to implement the information and communication technology programmes in Kenya and Uganda.
“Technology must play a role if we’re going to achieve our aim of ensuring quality education for all”
– Al Gurg, Chief Executive of Dubai Cares

The aim is to demonstrate the transformative potential of these technologies in improving teaching skills and providing education to children in developing countries, Dubai Cares said.
A delegation from the organisation has visited Kenya and Uganda to meet with officials, oversee installation of technological hardware and solar panels, and visit primary schools, where they met students and teachers benefitting from the programme.
