On Saturday, July 5, I had the pleasure of attending the Ismaili Muslim community’s Break the Fast sunset breakfast. About 6,000 people gathered for the event. It’s pretty neat that Stampede Park is just one piece of this incredible city-wide celebration.
This was the Ismaili Muslim Community’s 18th annual breakfast. Since Stampede fell over Ramadan, they served breakfast after the sun had officially set.
It took approximately 485 volunteers and six months of planning to host the event- wow!
