The pictures look amazing. I have been to Aga Khan Palace and it is a beautiful place to be, if you love art and history. There are so many stories attached to this palace. Will any Prince donate his palace to his people ? But Aga Khan IV did and I really admire him for that . Great post and thank you for sharing it.

This is an amazing place. In the mid-1960s I came from Tanzania and was a boarding student at the National Model School which was based in the Aga Khan Palace and of which the prominent sportsman, the late Mr Noshir Dorabji Nagarvala was the Principal. I attended classes in this palace and walked around the corridors and the gardens. I cherish these memories to this day. I revisited the Aga Khan Palace in 2000 and 2003 my memories of the time spent here came back flooding. Aga Khan Palace is an iconic building and part of India’s great history. I hope the Government will not let it go into ruin. — SHAMLAL PURI, international author, journalist and editor, London W8 5NP, UK
