Karim Harji is a co-founder and partner at Purpose Capital, an impact investment and advisory firm that works with investors who wish to integrate social and environmental impact considerations into their strategies and investments. He is the co-author of Accelerating Impact: Achievements, Challenges and What’s Next in Building the Impact Investing Industry, commissioned by the Rockefeller Foundation.
Karim is a Senior Research Associate at the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation at Carleton University, and teaches social entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto. He is the co-founder of SocialFinance.ca, and serves on the Boards of the Social Investment Organization, Small Change Fund and CanadaHelps.
