  3. Dear All,

–Miss Samina Khyal Baig & her brother Mr. Mirza Ali are from a village SHUMSHAL in Gojal upper Part of Hunza. Village Shumshal is famous with in the Area for the Ismaili PEER Shah Shamuz Tabriz and his stay and meditation place is famous with in the Ismailies of Gilgit-Baltistan. Born in an Ismaili family as all around the world and especially in Hunza families are very cautious about the education and following the saying “Give the Nation Good Mother and that would be cause of a good Nation”. Miss Samina studied her early education from Aga Khan Diamond Jubilee School Shumshal and presently she is College Student here in Islamabad.

–Following the footstep of the worlds renowned climbers Mr. Rajab Sho and five others from the same village Mr. Mirza Ali accepted the challenge but with a different theme and idea. Behind all such ideas are the education and the Institutions of Aga Khan that made way to the people of Pomire knot to such revolution in thinking and made the impossible in the shape of possible & achievements. How long struggle it took from 1935-46 till today 21 May 2013. Behind such achievement there is centuries struggle of Institutions, individuals and individuals. If I start to write them one by one not feasible here. How the lagecy start from the Holy Prophet of Islam, Imam Ali, Jafar sadiq all the Imams till to Al hazar or Fatimid period to Ali-Garah then the AKDN Institutions around the globe.

  4. Many congrats to Samina and her bro, its so sad that Pakistani media is too busy in showing elections and meaningless programs and they do not have any time to telecast her wonderful achievement. Our media is desperately trying to convert a great nation into one who constantly criticizes its own people. Hiding achievements of ppl like Samina and glorifying terror, self pity is not helping this wounded nation.
