April 26, 2013 – With the Wakf department sceptical about handing over restoration work of the Qutub Shahi Tombs to the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC), we issue an urgent call to save a City landmark.
Heritage activists yesterday held a meeting to discuss restoration of the Qutub Shahi Tombs near the Golconda fort. The Aga Khan Trust for Culture, which has been doing its homework on the restoration of the tombs for the past one year, is having a tough time convincing the Wakf department to get a go ahead.
