Dar es Salaam, 17 July 2012 — Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Tanzania for a brief visit to meet with senior government officials and review progress on AKDN projects in the country. He was received at Julius Nyerere International Airport by the Tanzanian Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Honourable Dr Shukuru Kawambwa, AKDN Resident Representative Amin Kurji and Ismaili Council for Tanzania President Aitmadi Jehangir Bhaloo.
