Paul Walker is a great scholar of Fatimid history.
I very much enjoyed reading his book on “Abu Ya’qub Al-Sijistani: Intellectual Missionary”, which is available at the literature counter at most JKs.

I agree with you Vancouverite: that book on Abu Yakub Al Sijistani by Paul Walker(published by the IIS in 1996) was life-transforming for me. The ideas in that book form the backbone of my Blog on the link between Science and Religion in Islam:

Thanks for the feedback. And thank you especially for the links to excellent discussions of Paul Walker’s work on your website.
I have gone back to my bookshelf, dusted off Paul Walker’s book on Al Sijistani and started rereading it again.
